  They have half the items other walmarts have. Shelves are rarely stocked. Extremely bad customer service. You literally have to hunt down and talk to a manager to make things right. Fair warning, if you buy anything and it's broken/bad/rotten when you open it, they will tell you "our policy is once it's opened, we cannot refund or exchange because we cannot resell it once it's opened." Have lost a lot of money because of that. Nothing is more irritating than buying something, opening it to find out its bad, then getting told it's not their problem. They have very few check out lanes that are open. They are horrible at helping you find items. They are VERY rude. Even tho i live not even 10 minutes from amite walmart, I'd rather drive to hammond or Mccomb.

  We went to buy a case of beer at the speedy checkout, but had to move to a regular checkout because the cashier (who was way over 21) did not have a license. A sign needs to be visible at the end of the line area so customers do not stand in line as long as we did, then have to wait in another long line.
